186I am a student of Tourism & Hospitality at NSCC and my focus is on Culinary Tourism in Nova Scotia and beyond. A self-proclaimed “food nerd” or foodie, I am always chasing trends and questing for the best our city has to offer. Nova Scotia has amazing local producers, fresh seafood, and emerging wine and microbrewery industries, which makes it a foodie heaven!

I also have a keen interest in regional foods of North America and I love going on food tours, especially by train and couch!

My main foodie interests are: pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, sushi, tacos, burritos, brunch, sandwiches, soups, poutine, BBQ, vegetarian, seafood, ethnic, and of course, local!

I appreciate quality over pretension, and authenticity over familiarity. I love innovation, but deeply appreciate comfort food. I believe food is what brings us together, and that it is the best way to get acquainted with a place.
